A Rogue Spirits Spruce Gin Concoction

We collected Rogue Spirits cocktail recipes from spirits experts around the country and pulled them all together for you. Here's one featuring Rogue Spruce Gin from a veteran of the bar and spirits industry: Ted Kilgore of St. Louis, Missouri.


We first met Ted back in October when he gave up his Dead On cocktail recipe, featuring Dead Guy Whiskey. He's back again — this time with Rogue Spirits Spruce Gin. And we're glad he's here to spruce up the place.

Spruce Gin, made with Rogue Farms-grown cucumbers, is mixed with Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur and Aperol for Ted Kilgore's Spruce It Up cocktail.

SPRUCE IT UP
1.5oz Rogue Spruce Gin
0.5oz Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur
0.5oz Aperol
0.5oz honey simple syrup (1:1 honey to water)
0.75oz lemon juice
2 dashes of Bitter Truth Creole Bitters

Combine all ingredients in a shaker pint and shake for about 20 seconds. Strain into cocktail glass and garnish with Candied Ginger on a skewer.
